pct day 28 - 06/02/13

i made my way from camp and saw the most amazing sunrise. the sky is very hazy and therefore the you look directly at the sun and it was this deep, deep red colour. i am not including a picture only because it so severely does not do justice to the colour of the sun this morning. other than the sunrise, today was just one of those uneventful days - the last remnants of the desert with a hike thru a large burn area on my way to kennedy meadows. at the very end of the day i was rewarded with a beautiful meadow, a thick grove of pine trees coming up for the next day, and a cold, yummy creek right next to my campsite. i can already feel the terrain starting to change. yay!

38 miles from cs656 to mather creek. 694 miles total.
