today was so wonderful. since i took another day in squaw valley to visit, i ended up catching up with many hikers i have been hiking with off and on, including marie. we met for lunch and she shared she was planning to go all the way to sierra city, which is a plan i was considering. we had a great day and got to the red moose inn where these trail angels open their restaurant and inn to hikers for free camping, showers, and laundry.
i had a great night as we caught up with operator, israh, astrid, walking home, hooligan . . . it was so nice.
30 miles from cs1168 to red moose inn at highway 49. 1198 miles total.
